While camping at Longbow in Oregon this past summer, Charlotte Laughlin and I had fun making stone flowers. I used a photograph of this one in my recent Mendocino workshop with
Amy Melious. Taking my original photo I converted it to B&W and printed it on Epson Fine Art paper. It was then sealed with an acrylic polymer sealer (in this case Glamour II giclee veneer in matte) and, once that had dried, painted with some acrylic paints. I think I might prefer the original photo to my end result.
Which do you prefer?
