Insomnia is a funny thing...When it's unrelenting, it does seem like an existential question/demand imposed from somewhere else. When it's occasional, one gives it less credence. A very wise person (an eighteen-year-old sage) has referred to insomnia as "kind sleeplessness", as a gift of sorts (time to be creative). You've covered the ground thoroughly in this illustration.
